About Our Staff
It's important that realistic success criteria are identified and should be both 'SMART' (specific, measurable, achievable, reasonable, target). NIEL Children’s Services believe that children and young people need to see life skills demonstrated and modeled, whilst being supported in their own attempts. Everyone's needs are different and personal to them.
The teams at Mitchley House have a wealth of experience working in ways which support and promote independence. The teams understand that building positive and supportive relationships with children and young people is key to building trust, `connection before correction’.
NIEL’S staffs have a wealth of experience and training, all of which informs their practice.
